Sarah Palin vs Barack Obama: The approval gap silently shrinks to a few points

Am I saying that Sarah will be the Republican nominee in 2012? No, not yet. Am I saying that she would be ultimately more qualified than the O-man? Definitely. It is still very early in the process, but Sarah is doing everything right, no pun intended. Her book is wildly successful, she is very popular among Republicans, and people are waiting for hours in the cold just to get a glimpse of her. She is building her donation base and is setting herself up in the most intelligent way possible if she does decide to make a run in 2012. Oh, and as the article from the LA Times no less states, her approval ratings are going up while Obama’s are sinking. More to come…

Not that it matters politically because obviously she’s a female Republican dunce and he’s a male Democrat genius.

But Sarah Palin’s poll numbers are strengthening.

And Barack Obama‘s are sliding.

Guess what? They’re about to meet in the 40’s.

Depending, of course, on which recent set of numbers you peruse and how the questions are phrased, 307 days into his allotted 1,461 the 44th president’s approval rating among Americans has slid to 49% or 48%, showing no popularity bounce from his many happy trips, foreign and domestic.

The Day I Met Sarah Palin…and the Liberal Media – From another great blog

I don’t know Jackie, but I’m reposting and linking to her blog. She will be one to watch. I don’t know what Jackie will do with her life, but she went through a pivotal moment in her life the other day that only a few will. This is why the libs are terrified of Sarah Palin. Read her story. Good for you Jackie. Her blog is called:

The Day I Met Sarah Palin…and the Liberal Media

Where on earth do I begin? This all started as me, a young 17 year old American going to see a woman I admire and turned into this crazy event hah I’ll start at the very beginning.

My dad and I arrived at the Barnes and Noble at 11 pmTuesday evening. There were 2 tents in front of us; we were probably number 15 or so in line. It was a chilly evening but I enjoyed some good conversation from several Palin fans. We talked about Obama, Palin and just some other stuff. We sat outside in the cold, bundled up until 5:30 am. At that time they ushered us inside where we had to sit outside the B&N entrance until 7am. We received our bracelets at 7am and were told if we’d like to be guaranteed to see Palin we should remain in line all day. So I did.

Sarah Palin gives Oprah biggest audience in two years

They’re scared of her folks. Whether she runs in 2012 or not, they will keep hitting her hard, and she is falling on her sword for the conservative movement. They say she’s stupid, they say she’s corrupt, they make fun of her family, but she is the most popular figure of the conservative reconstruction and will boost every candidate she endorses come the 2010 elections. She boosted Oprah’s ratings more than she’s had in two years, her book is flying off the shelves, and she will be a force to be reckoned with.

Oprah Winfrey’s interview with former vp candidate Sarah Palin scored the talk show host her highest rating in two years.

Monday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” drew a 8.7 household rating and 13 share — the best since Winfrey had the entire Osmond family on the show in 2007.

Get ready, America: Here comes Sarah Palin

Who gets liberals madder than Sarah Palin? Not many others who might be prospects for 2012. It is clear that she gets their goat, though and that could work to her advantage. She is about to travel the country on a book tour for her new bestseller, “Going Rogue.” This is sure to give the libs something to talk about.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Get ready, America. Like her or not, Sarah Palin is coming to a city near you.

Last year’s Republican vice presidential nominee is starting a book tour next week to promote her memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life.”

Is it a thinly-veiled bid to test the waters for a possible 2012 Republican presidential bid, or simply an effort to make money and cement her celebrity status?

Only time will tell. For now, the opening stops of her tour in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama and Florida, could be valuable if she later decides to run.
