I would like to personally congratulate the latest new Mao-loving Czar of the Obama administration, Ron Bloom. We all heard Anita Bloom last week saying that one of her favorite philosophers was Mao Tse-Tung, murderer of 50 million people. Enter Ron Bloom. Can you imagine the outrage if George Bush had people like this as his advisors? I wish I was making this stuff up folks.
Ron Bloom, President Obama’s new manufacturing czar, speaking to the 6th Annual Distressed Investing Forum, in February 2008 said this:
“Generally speaking, we get the joke. We know that the free market is nonsense. We know that the whole point is to game the system, to beat the market, or at least find someone who will pay you a lot of money because they are convinced that there is a free lunch. We know that this is largely about power, that it’s an adults-only, no-limit game. We kind of agree with Mao, that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun. And we get it, that if you want a friend, you should get a dog.”
